It’s about tapping in” . Describe the typical Pure Powers fan. It’s hard to pinpoint who the typical Pure Powers fan is because there are so many different types. I guess one thing I feel most of them have in common is they are all willing to support underground artists they are generally open minded & people striving to better themselves. People who like music with meaning or a message in it. Something that mak...

Nashville, TN born and raised rapper 2Four presents his new Pandora Nightz -produced single “Night to Remember” , from his soon to be released album Abstract , featuring Nagra Beats , Ford Beats , Pandora Nightz , DJ Shaw T , T he Trill , Ric & Thadeus and Official Street Empire . His previous work includes the video “Blackout” ( stream on YouTube ). “Abstract is in a way my own musical compilation with different mixtures of sounds and lyrical efforts. There isn’t really a concrete characteristic to this album but it expresses the essence and vibes of many different feelings and emotions that blend together sort of like something you’d see in a painting or at an art gallery”. What inspired “Night To Remember”? Was it a particular night in your life? Paint us a picture. I actually wrote the song around New Years a while back and it was just a vibe really, so it was around a cool time and it just kind of clicked. It’s one of those songs where there isn’t much of a d...

Melbourne, Australia rapper Ezra Allen presents “Free” , his new single produced by Able8 and Rippers Records . When asked about the inspiration for his new single, Ezra says, “This song is about an unrequited love, it’s almost like an open letter to the recipient of my feelings and airing out a few unspoken things for myself and for her. I wrote this originally as a remix of ‘Love Yourself’ by Justin Bieber and after I gave up on that project I left the lyrics open in a Word document for almost a year before hearing this beat and reusing them. It was built to represent a younger version of myself a bit less in control of my emotions and a bit more prone to outburst. It was hard not to continuously change the lyrics as I grew and matured as I wanted it to represent the raw emotion of a teenager.”     What is the general perception towards Hip-Hop music in Australia? Is there any kind of stigma towards white rappers in particular?   Hip-Hop doesn’t n...
