To mark the 30th Anniversary of their groundbreaking debut, Do You Want More?!!!??! , The Roots present a stunning live recording from their March 2025 three-day, six-show residency at New York’s legendary Blue Note Jazz Club . The group performed the album in full — bringing to life tracks that hadn’t been played in decades and joined by special guests Ursula Rucker , Dice Raw , and Rahzel .

After a 16-year hiatus and with no go-to band in place, Clipse 's Tiny Desk took lots of time to piece together. At first, NPR didn't know exactly what they were looking for, in terms of sonics, but it clicked when they was told what they didn't want: no jazzy renditions of their music. They meant no disrespect to jazz at all, and if you follow the duo's music, it boils down to hard drums and even harder synths. Hybrid drummer Daru Jones , who played on last year's Tiny Desk for the LOX , was the first choice because of his unique ability to mix traditional and electronic drum sounds. In April 2025, Blue Foundation performed their latest single, ‘The Fall’ , live at Hotel Cecil in Copenhagen.  Starring Tobias Wilner , Bo Rande , Nina Dahlgaard Larsen , and Rune Lohse , with stunning cinematography by Martin Kobylarz , this new live film is a tribute to presence, imperfection, and the city that showed up. ‘The Fall’ , taken from the 2025 album ‘Close to the Knife’ , is more than a performance—it’s a memory.  ‘Close to the Knife’ showcases the distinctive fusion of electronic music and dream pop that the Blue Foundation has become renowned for.
