Staying on their necks, Mr. 31 aka Jamal Gasol comes with another freestyle video/drop. This time over the beat of “4PF” (with visuals filmed by Blackbelt Jonez ) as he drops gems about the hustle.  This track will appear on the forthcoming Mr. 31 Vol. 3 (The Threat Tape) to drop digitally on 5/26. It’s a return to the classic mixtape format for Jamal Gaso l, who is having fun stuntin’ over some choice beats used by other artists. These includes two previous leaks including “Bang Bang Freestyle” and “Return Of The Threat Freestyle” .

Returning with another freestyle video, Mr. 31 himself, Jamal Gasol drops “Bang Bang Freestyle” From the forthcoming mixtape Mr. 31 Vol. 3 (The Threat Tape) . Jamal   Gasol spits high level first-person street narrative over the Alchemist beat (first used by Capone-N-Noreaga ). The video (shot by Blackbelt Jonez ) reflects the Niagara Falls, NY hustler sinking shots in the pool hall.

Jamal Gasol has blacked out again! “Blackout 3” the first offering from the forthcoming The World Is Piff 3 . Produced by Denny LaFlare ( Griselda ) the dark, piano-laced instrumental (as the title says) is a backdrop for Gasol to go in on the fly and spazz on what’s going on in the world and his psychological state. Blackout 1 and 2 appeared on previous editions of The World Is Piff and were produced by Camoflauge Monk and DirtyDiggs respectively. The World Is Piff 3 will drop on January 1st . PIFF Music Empire boss Jamal Gasol has released a new video / new single entitled “Diamond Cut” . Produced by Hiyah (with video shot by DeeLockit and edited by Red Sun Video ).  The track is the opening salvo from the PIFF Music Empire label which Gasol has started to shine a light on the talent from his hood of “Dirty Waters” (aka Niagara Falls, NY ). The first two artists on the label include upstate legend Rico Tellem and up-n-comer GBlock Tez .  Label compilation/mixtape United We Stand, Divided We Fall will drop on August 18th and features all three of the emcees heavily and was produced by The Historian and Sandy Solo .

BIG TURKS is a concept album, as well as a group that consists of emcees Rome Streetz , Jamal Gasol and Lord Juco , with Ro Data on the beats, Jordan Commandeur executive producing and Jonny Botsch handling art and design. The project is based on a '70s Turkish martial arts film entitled The Sword And The Claw (aka Lionman aka Kilic Aslan ). To reinforce the theme, all the beats on the album use samples from Turkish folk music, and the lyricists include a plethora of references to Turkish history and culture. Think Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) but with a Middle Eastern spin. The album includes guest features by Solomon Childs , Chong Wizard , Planet Asia , O The Great , Rim Da Villin , Napoleon Da Legend and Supreme Cerebral . The CD version also includes 3 bonus remixes with production by Halal Cool J (aka Don Leisure ), Farazi and S.M.E.K. .
