Danish indie artist Hannah Schneider ’s new album ‘In This Room’ have been getting Radio X and 6 Music airplay, plus press love from the likes of Earmilk and Notion Magazine to name a few. The album was written and recorded during a two-month residency at Thorvaldsens Museum in Copenhagen. The museum’s historic rooms became the setting for a musical experiment in which both composition and recording were turned upside down: what happens when acoustic instruments become the starting point for modern electronic music? The result is a sensuous encounter between organic soundscapes, electronic beats, and strong melodies, a living dialogue between human and machine, sounding more akin to her recent acclaimed AyOwA electronic project than her previous solo works.

With their 2024 debut album, ‘Serenades & Damnation’ , DEAD CHIC delivered a record that was dense, visceral, and instantly distinctive. From the very first notes, the atmosphere was unmistakable: cinematic crescendos, vast open landscapes, sultry tension, grit, and refined elegance. Unmistakably dark and chic. Salford based experimental collective, Patchwork Rattlebag release ‘Vertigo Dreams’ , the second single from their forthcoming debut album ‘Fragments 1’ .  Following the band’s recent glitchy dystopian electronica single ‘Hook, Line and Riser’ , ‘Vertigo Dreams’ shows another side to Patchwork Rattlebag , incorporating breezy acoustic textures, introspective lyrics and bursts of vocal harmony. The track sees the electronic elements of their sound drifting into the background, making way for and complimenting beautifully this haunting and beguiling song- as the band plumb similar melancholic depths to artists like Gravenhurst and Nick Drake .

Hannah Schneider teases new album with vibrant new single ‘Lighthouse’ , out now via Midnight Confessions . Produced with longtime collaborator Christian Balvig ( When Saints Go Machine , and arranger for BBC Proms ) and featuring Efterklang frontman Caspar Clausen , and drummer and vocalist Øyunn , amongst others, Hannah Schneider ’s new record see’s her in a new lane to her previous critically acclaimed solo albums, but with the same brilliance that has established her as as one of the strongest voices in Denmark throughout her career. Her music has been used extensively in film, television and on some of the largest theater stages in Scandinavia and in 2023 and 2024 she won the Danish composers prize 'Carl Prisen' together with the contemporary jazz duo Kaleiido , for her work on the albums "Elements" and "Places" .

The video for the track ‘Canary Song’ by Veronica D'Souza seeks to illustrate these sentiments too. In a world of constant external expectations — of performing, pleasing, and living up to ideas of what a woman should be — the ‘Canary Song’ video is a quiet, simple rebellion. It doesn’t beg for attention — it holds its own. In an age of overproduction and algorithm-approved perfection, Veronica D’Souza does the opposite: she walks into a rehearsal room, sits behind a drum kit, and plays the song through. Just her body, her beat, and the sound of a woman owning her rhythm — fully, freely, for herself.

‘Wild for the Weekend’ is the 2nd single from Zkeletonz ’ forthcoming debut album ‘OUT!’ —self-produced and featuring mixing and mastering by Sam Wheat ( Nile Rodgers ) and Alex Gopher ( Chromeo , Ed Banger ). This is independent electro-disco at full power, channelling the spirits of Breakbot , Phoenix , Daft Punk ’s Homework , and classic Ed Banger French Touch , but from the UK scene. The band blend synth-pop, disco, and indie and create music designed for movement, with a distinctively stylish and ironic edge.

Portuguese meets Irish indie duo Ledher Blue ’s just released their new album ‘Fait Divers’ , which is full of infectious indie-rock jams, including recent breezy earworm ‘Craic’ , which sounds like The Strokes put through a psychedelic kaleidoscope of trippy synth goodness.

Young indie / shoegaze band (average age of 19) called Marseille have enlisted Wolf Alice producer Michael Smith for their best work to date, new single ‘History’ . Californian Indie-rock group Fellow Robot are back with ‘Crash & Burn’ , the second single from their upcoming cinematic album “Misanthropioid” . The band have teamed up with Andrew Scheps ( Green Day, RHCP , Adele , Metallica , Hozier , Johnny Cash ) who helped co-produce and mix ‘Misanthropioid’ from his home studio ‘Punkerpad’ in Titton, UK.
