DEFINITION OF FRESH

Grateful Is An Understatement offers a dose of reflection and is a testament to Anthony Church 's perspective on life at the 10-year mark of his music journey. The 12-track effort brings together 15 artists over entirely self-produced soundscapes, blending soulful boom bap textures with melodic, emotionally rich cuts. Every record creates space for honesty with stories about struggle, growth, faith, resilience, and the quiet victories we sometimes overlook. Featuring appearances from the likes of Chester Watson , Jacobdeloakland , Heno . and more, the album feels cohesive yet diverse, unified by intentional decisions and a shared willingness to speak truth.

Northeast Ohio producer Anthony Church connects with the distinct style and voice of Chester Watson to deliver “Staring” , the lead single to his upcoming compilation album “Grateful Is An Understatement” .  The visual piece is animated and directed by Sigmund Washington .
