DEFINITION OF FRESH

“Non Stop” was recorded in 2011 as part of the sessions for highly regarded "The Element Of Surprise" album sessions. On par with the best moments of that album, this unreleased gem is possessed by Confidence ’s use of boomin’ drums and piano/horn stabs, fluid cuts from DJ Technic and Rashad ’s smooth lyrical delivery. The result goes down as a spiritual sibling of the 90's era Hip-Hop sound. About a month ago, Rashad & Confidence released another unreleased track titled "Feel It" . Both these tracks and the 2019 single "Desires" will be part of the 2026 remastered album version of "The Element Of Surprise" as bonus tracks. The album will be out on May 1st on all digital stores and a vinyl 2xLP vinyl version.

Below System Records is proud to release “Feel It” an unearthed gem from Rashad And Confidence .  The track was originally recorded in 2011 as part of The Element Of Surprise LP sessions. Why it wasn’t part of the original album isn’t clear as “Feel It” is easily as strong as any of the fan favorites from that body of work.

Trizz & MIKE SUMMERS dropped a new music video for the song "Mask" , taken from their latest collaboration album "LEATHERFACE III" . The album was released on Halloween of 2025 and the deluxe version on January 16th 2026. The deluxe version of the album includes 5 new tracks.

Mighty Joseph is the combination of Vast Aire ( Cannibal Ox ) with his long-time rhyme ally Karniege . The duo’s sole album, Empire State (2008) was released during the tail-end of the last great non-commercial hip-hop period. Never released on vinyl before the album will be available on double LP vinyl edition. Rooted in the concrete streets but lyrically abstract, features and beats are provided by equal musical foils including Madlib , Camu Tao , Murs , J-Zone , Poison Pen and Vordul Mega ( Cannibal Ox ) among others. Fan and critical attention were positive with All Hip Hop summing the album as "solid post-millennium product that bridges the gap between gritty street tales and a paranoid view of the future” .
