Then he just showed up in Boston one day and recored two fire verses and we made a banger. I wanted to give it a fresh coat of paint fifteen years later" says Leedz .   AL-J (Blak Madeen) and kane major re-assemble to express their freedom of speech with a new video American Me . The SandoFilms directed visuals highlight Al-J 's lyrical angle as a U.S. citizen. "My perspective is coming from an American African not an African American. The odds and expectations that are set against us, as well as our triumphs is where my story begins" says Al-J . "Kane came to me with this beat and the vibe of it was sombre and at the same time optimistic. All I could think of was striving to get to Better Dayz.
