Following the success of their first single "Mean While In Gotham" ft. Apathy and Lil Dee , NY emcee Coast LoCastro and Houston producer Johnny Slash return with another hard-hitting new single, “Wannabe Frenz” , featuring Long Island’s own Little Vic —a raw, uncompromising record that cuts straight to the core of loyalty, envy and the blurred lines between allies and adversaries.

NY rapper Coast LoCastro and Houston producer Johnny Slash return with a hard-hitting new single, “Mean While In Gotham” featuring CT underground heavyweight Apathy alongside Coney Island's buzzworthy Lil Dee . Dark, cinematic and unapologetically raw, “Mean While In Gotham” captures the gritty pulse of street-level hip-hop, blending sharp lyricism with menacing production. Johnny Slash ’s signature gritty soundscape sets the tone, while Coast LoCastro delivers razor-edged bars, matched seamlessly by Apathy’s seasoned lyrical acrobatics and Lil Dee ’s commanding presence. The track is the latest release from their forthcoming collaborative project, "Slash Coast 2" , set to drop soon ( Date TBA ) via Broken Complex Records . Mean While In Gotham feat. Lil Dee by Johnny Slash, Coast LoCastro & Apathy

Brash Long Island MC Coast LoCastro & Flagler Beach, FL producer Mike Martinez have released their first collaborative EP, the appropriately titled "Coast LoCastro & Mike Martinez Volume 1" . The 6-track offering is completely produced by Mike Martinez and features guest appearances from Martinez , Mr. Misk , Big Dese & Eff Yoo .  The lead single, "Make Enough" featuring Queens, NY product Eff Yoo , has Coast & Eff trading witty, braggadocious rhymes over a creepy, menacing beat from Martinez . In the video for the cut, the MC's deliver their verses in front of (and inside) luxury foreign cars as they admonish rappers that they don't make enough.  'Coast LoCastro & Mike Martinez 1 ' is available now on all platforms and for direct purchase: https://fatcoast.bandcamp.com/album/c...
