Danish trio Smag På Dig Selv (SPDS) are back to unveil their awesome Better Company live session for ‘Total Full Power Extreme Nuclear Confusion 2000’.   ‘Total Full Power Extreme Nuclear Confusion 2000’ comes from the band’s 2024 debut album ‘SPDS’ and is a perfect example of the intoxicating electronic chaos that the band have become renowned for, as dystopian sax atmospheres give way to hard-hitting bass-loaded beats in a feverish melange of escalating glitchy carnage.  The Better Company session for the track, recorded during the band’s first visit to New York in January 2025, is a stripped-back version that shows the band in their element, smashing out this young classic from their back catalogue with jaw-dropping, invigorating flair.

De La Soul went to NPR to celebrate a few milestones: its latest album, Cabin in the Sky , and year three of the De La Soul catalog back under the members' control. This Tiny Desk releases, which is known as De La Soul Day . It's all a bit bittersweet as David Jolicoeur (aka Trugoy the Dove , aka Plug Two ) isn't here with Pos and Maseo .  Dave passed away in 2023, just weeks before the group's music was finally made available on streaming platforms after a decades-long legal battle. Throughout the planning process for this show, both remaining members were candid about what Dave would and wouldn't approve of creatively, but remained open to ideas to honor him. The result was a thoughtful balance of classics like "Stakes is High" and "Breakadawn" with highlights from Cabin in the Sky .

To mark the 30th Anniversary of their groundbreaking debut, Do You Want More?!!!??! , The Roots present a stunning live recording from their March 2025 three-day, six-show residency at New York’s legendary Blue Note Jazz Club . The group performed the album in full — bringing to life tracks that hadn’t been played in decades and joined by special guests Ursula Rucker , Dice Raw , and Rahzel .

Singer-songwriter Gregory Page ’s positively charged album ‘One Hell Of A Memory’ , which features his good friend & co-producer on the album Jason Mraz singing on several tracks, has just had a UK & Ireland release.  A highlight from ‘One Hell Of A Memory’ is ‘Right Now Not Tomorrow’ , a rousing anthem, combining both Americana and traditional folk elements, for getting up, seizing the day and letting the good times roll.
