DEFINITION OF FRESH

Deluxe extension to the 2024 Samurai album. A year on, Lupe Fiasco released 2 new songs and 3 remixes to songs previously released on the standard album mainly by adding Troy Tyler vocals. Samurai , the title track, the only one that was reworked substantially. The use of DX to shorten Deluxe is very meticulously chosen. Often used for improved video game versions, but more often than not the kind that don’t differ much from the original and focus more on the technical side of a game. Same way DX features very specific tinkering of Samurai songs. Lupe Fiasco even referred to Samurai DX songs as “DLC characters” to add to one’s Samurai collection on Instagram .

After a six-year hiatus Chance The Rapper is back with is release "Star Line" , that features 17 tracks with guest appearances by Do or Die , Jamila Woods , BJ The Chicago Kid , Babychiefdoit , Vic Mensa , Joey BadA$$ , Young Thug , TiaCorine , Lil Wayne , Smino , Rachel Robinson , Lion Babe , Jay Electronica , and Jazmine Sullivan .
