From the 2009 XXL Freshman list to an expansive catalog with more than 25 celebrated releases, L.A.'s own Blu has earned his spot in the hip-hop pantheon. Now, the master lyricist is commemorating the dawn of his fourth decade of life with "Forty", a new album produced by August Fanon. With a release date fast approaching, Blu is back with another visual from the project, this time highlighting his verse from the nostalgic new single "Simple". 

The full version of "Simple" features Chester Watson along with longtime Blu collaborator Sene. Available worldwide on April 18th, "Forty" features appearances by Kota The Friend, Asher Roth, Mickey Factz, R.A.P. Ferreira, Homeboy Sandman, Fashawn, and more.
