Hailing from the gritty landscape of Lawrence, Massachusetts, Mistameana , an independent Puerto Rican artist delivers hard-hitting, authentic urban storytelling, built on raw lyricism and cinematic production. Proud of his heritage, he continues to visit the island that inspires much of his creativity and keeps him connected to his roots.  Following the momentum of previous release, “In My Subaru” , Mistameana returns with “Living Testament” , a heartfelt and inspirational single that showcases a new level of artistic growth and authenticity.

The video for Erykah Badu and The Alchemist ’s “Witch Doctor” is out now.  Erykah Badu not only stars in the visual, but flexes her skills as director, executive producer, creative director and stylist.   “Witch Doctor” serves as a preview to Erykah Badu ’s collaborative project with The Alchemist , which does not yet have a title.  Previously road-tested on tour, the album, recorded over 18 months in Dallas and Los Angeles, is set to arrive on Aug. 28.
