Video: Joey Bada$$ - Sorry Not Sorry

“Sorry Not Sorry” is Joey Bada$$’s second release of January 2025, following “The Ruler’s Back”, which many perceived to be a diss track aimed at Kendrick Lamar as well as the West Coast—Joey specifically interpolated a bar from JAY-Z’s June 1996 track “22 Two’s”. 

Before Kendrick could respond, several of his peers fired back; including battle rapper Daylyt with “Hiyu” and TDE-affiliate Ray Vaughn with “Crashout Heritage”. This is ostensibly a response to the tracks aimed back at Joey by rappers from the Golden State. 

As with his previous entry, Joey enlists production from Conductor Williams; this time, however, Conductor is joined by Everett, Washington native Mario Luciano and the video is directed & edited by Waqas Ghani.
