Spanglish Boom-Bap triumvirate Grupo HNE (pronounced Henny) have dropped new visuals for recent single “The Palmetto”. Sub-titled “A musical ode to Miami’s traffic nightmare,” The Palmetto refers to State Route 826, also known as The Palmetto Expressway. DJ Exes says of the track “was written from the perspective of the average Miamian on their way home after a 40-hour work week right into permanent gridlock and road chaos. It’s enough to drive any sane man mad!” 

Directed by MrBeleaf and co-directed by Cuban emcee, Orion (who also appears on the track) the breezy easy jazz and uplifting instrumental contrasts with the bars of frustration and the video’s homage to 90’s classic cinema gem, Falling Down.
