A self-admitted underachiever from the sleepy city of Bend, Oregon, Amsterdam has decided to take a moment and put in a little effort. It remains unclear why he has recently started to give a fuck. After dropping two albums in 2019 (“Crush” & “Yrstruly”), he’s just now released “Control The Narrative”, a decidedly unexpected 47 point outburst of a game from a career backup; a two & a half minute anthem anchored by DJ Fatboy cutting up samples from HBO’s Succession.
