“Golden Eye” serves as Long Beach rapper Ray Vaughn’s follow-up to the diss track “Hoe Era” within his beef with Joey Bada$$ and other East Coast rappers, in addition to serving as the response to the latter’s diss tracks “THE FINALS” and “MY TOWN”. 

In this song, Ray Vaughn makes multiple accusations against Joey Bada$$ regarding the latter’s affiliation with disgraced rap mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs.
