This untitled song (known to fans as “Watch The Party Die”) came as a surprise release via Kendrick Lamar’s Instagram on September 11, 2024, at around 5 PM, PST. The song is produced by Anca Trio Plus One & Pasqué.

It arrived shortly after Kendrick’s announcement that he would be headlining the Halftime Show at Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans, Louisiana. This is his first musical release since the number one hit single “Not Like Us”, a diss track aimed at Drake.
