News: Isabel LaRosa Sets Sights on 2024; Announces God's Watching Tour

After a wildly successful 2023, Isabel LaRosa is hardly slowing down. In fact, the wave-making singer/songwriter is riding the momentum into what is already shaping up to be a stellar 2024.

On January 9, LaRosa announced her upcoming “God's Watching” North American Tour with her labelmate, Brooklyn-based dark-pop artist Ari Abdul. The tour kicks off March 7 in San Diego, CA and will run through early April.

LaRosa’s almost meteoric rise can be attributed – at least in part – to her refreshing vulnerability, which tends to be celebrated by young music fans. To date, LaRosa has over 800 million streams across audio platforms. She also boasts over 250 million video streams and nearly four billion short-form video streams.

Unsurprisingly, LaRosa was named one of Spotify's Pop Rising Artists to Watch in 2024.

Last year, LaRosa was also chosen as one of only six artists for TikTok's inaugural Elevate program. Through Elevate, TikTok offers support within the app and beyond, assisting emerging talents in shaping their careers beyond viral success. LaRosa also performed at TikTok in the Mix, a sold-out event at Sloan Park in Mesa, Arizona. The event was streamed live on TikTok, pulling in almost 10 million viewers. Including subsequent re-broadcasts, TikTok in the Mix shattered records with nearly 34 million viewers worldwide.

 

Born in Annapolis, MD, LaRosa grew up enveloped by music. Her father took her to jazz clubs where he played the saxophone and her brother Thomas played guitar. Eventually, she began songwriting with Thomas in elementary school and from there, a creative duo was formed. To this day, LaRosa writes and produces music with Thomas in her bedroom.

LaRosa has a unique ability to turn coming-of-age stories about infatuation and heartbreak into addictive hits for the new generation. She seamlessly blends musical styles - from electric bedroom pop to hyper and indie pop – to craft a sound all her own. Her videos are often inspired by sci-fi, thriller, and horror movies and television shows, and provide the backdrop for her sonic universe.
