Lord Tooz¥ & J57 - 757: Red Eye

J57 linked up with the young, Atlanta spitter, Lord Tooz¥ to create a powerful collaborative album titled "757: Red Eye". The album title is a play on J57's name mixed with the area code of Lord Tooz¥'s home state of Virginia, where he lived before moving to Atlanta years ago. This album is a cohesive hybrid of modern flows over golden era hiphop production. The only features are DJ's; truly showcasing Lord Tooz¥'s lyrical ability over J57's boombap and at times Lo-Fi soundscapes. This red eye “flight” is the starting point of their journey together but it’s far from their final destination.
