K.I.N.E.T.I.K. - The Kinesis Thesis

Ten years ago, K.I.N.E.T.I.K. released his second album, The Kinesis Thesis. Life was different for the kid, though. He was a mere two years into his professional recording career, navigating the awkward changes of young adulthood and while trying to 'figure life out' at the same time. However, hindsight is 20/20 and time has been kind to this body of work, which still has a remarkable quality in spite of all the changes in music, society and our world at large.

This cult favourite is a landmark moment in the journey of the London based emcee. The masterful production from JJ Malone, Jon Phonics and Vintage allowed him to refine further the thoughtful, layered and self-aware perspectives showcased on his debut effort. It also marked the beginning of his relationship with Chemo, who has been his go-to recording engineer ever since. Most importantly, the sophomore jinx proved to be a non-factor as K.I.N.E.T.I.K. took every compliment and critique from his first album into his creative stride.

Listeners can expect a savvy balance of measured storytelling in tracks like Leave It All Behind and Memory Lane which are perfectly juxtaposed with the rambunctious chest-pounding defiance of eternal bangers like It Ain't Hard To See and Let's Go.
