[COOL TIPS] : How To Make Your Songs Ready For Email Blasts ? (by Cool FD)

You’re serious about your music career. You’re serious about your own business. You invest in yourself and you firmly believe that all this hard work will pay off (and I agree with that !). You’ve decided to pay for an email blast service, in order to reach the more deejays and bloggers you can, because your music deserves to be heard. That is great.

But here again, I’ve noticed so many times how some basic mistakes can be your best ennemies when it comes to email blast your tracks. Let’s fix them up

• Correctly name your files : you’re probably unknown by the receivers. They got to understand easily who you are, who raps, who produces, who is the feature.
• Correctly attache your files : insert them in MP3 (never waves, unless it is asked, and never zip files), or in a cloud shared form (be sure it is shared in your files’ settings). Do not send them only by copy/pasting the stream link. Very few people make the effort to peep the stream and download it from there.
• Anticipate the ID3 tags : many deejays use Serato or Traktor. By using a software like mp3tag, you will be able to insert all the important tags (artist name, album title, track number), and this way make your tracks easy to be played by these deejays and radio hosts. 
• Anticipate your receivers’ needs : get your clean/instrumental/acapella versions ready. If they asked for it (like radio often does), they will be satisfied and surprised by your professionalism.
