Napoleon Da Legend is an emcee originally from Washington, DC, now residing in Brooklyn, NY. At age 16, his parents moved overseas and Napoleon chose to stay in the U.S. The following year, he was writing and recording songs and released a 12″ in Europe for the single “Prison” . Napoleon released Black Mafia mixtapes series in the DC/MD/VA area with other local artists. He collaborated with Red Café and Trina and later filmed a Big Punisher tribute video called “Deep Cover 2010” . In 2010, Napoleon released The Myth Or The Legend EP with production from Soul Theory Productions , Crazy Al Cayne , No Wonder , and more. In 2011, Napoleon was featured on Crazy Al Cayne ’s mixtape, The Sugar Cayne Experiment Vol. 1 . In 2013, DJ Bazarro invited Napoleon to join the longstanding rap group Dysfunkshunal Familee .
