DEF!NITION OF FRESH aka DOF presents you to Greenwood, South Carolina emcee, Paperboi Smitt , known locally as the “Showcase King” . Humbly, growing up in Greenwood, South Carolina where him and 10 others shared a 2 bedroom apartment, Smitt recognized early that he had to work hard to get were he wanted to go. “…..You had to get what you can get out of what to got. Nothing ever had just one use,…So I had to grind” . After a fatal car accident involving his brother and 6 months later his best friend shot dead in front of him, Smitt decided to focus on making a career out of his music. Smitt began working on his Mixtape Southside Stories ( released in 2011 ), and from there he never looked back.
