‘Snail in the Clouds – A Film for Songs’ , a stunning, wildly inventive animated film by Michele Ducci and Letizia Mandolesi , populated by a world of fascinating and loveable creatures…  The film is out now and serves as a companion piece to Michele Ducci ’s album ‘Snail in the Clouds’ , released on June 5th 2026 on Monotreme Records .

For his second studio album, ‘Snail in the Clouds’ , former M+A member Michele Ducci recruited Simon Milner ( Is Tropical , Ysing ) to record and produce the album in his 4 am Studios in London. The result is a lush, multi-layered pop album that showcases Michele Ducci ’s superb songwriting and vocal talents. To add to these riches, Ducci and his partner Letizia Mandolesi created an entire world populated by fantastical creatures, which they lovingly portray in an epic full-length animated video set to be unveiled soon.

Former M+A member Michele Ducci has laid down some superb ‘Born Slippy’ inspired synth-heavy soundscapes on his new single ‘Rain On Me’ . The single comes from Michele Ducci ’s forthcoming album and animated film, ‘Snail in the Clouds’ , which was recorded and produced by Simon Milner ( Is Tropical, Ysing ) in his 4 am Studios in London.

Michele Ducci releases the video for “Why You?” , the second part of his animated short film “Film for Songs: The Great Book Of Nature” .  “Why You?” is a jaunty fairground waltz with a big uplifting chorus, which appears to run counter to the on-screen events, evoking the Brechtian concept of the disengagement effect, in which the audience is encouraged to engage with the story intellectually rather than emotionally.

Former M+A and Santii member, Michele Ducci is making his long-awaited live return to the UK, supporting Is Tropical at New River Studios in London on the 9th of April.   Ahead of the gig, Michele releases ‘Why Do I Wake Up Every Morning?’ , the first part of his ‘Film for Songs: The Great Book of Nature’ .

Former M+A and Santii member Michele Ducci has just released, ‘NUBA Live Tape’ , a really beautiful and interesting ‘live in the studio’ album, that contains three re-imagined versions of tracks from Michele’s debut solo album ‘SIVE’ .

‘Even Before’ is the second single from the ‘live in the studio’ album ‘NUBA Live Tape’ , by Michele Ducci . The album contains alternative versions of 3 tracks from his debut album, ‘SIVE’ , released in June 2024, along with 4 new songs. Following on from the recent release of his debut solo album, ‘SIVE’ , former M+A and Santii member Michele Ducci has released a cover version of ‘I May Look Tuff’ by GregoryBeBad , co-written by Gregory Josephs and Simon Milner of Is Tropical .   Michele Ducci   transforms the hip-hop style of the original into a piano ballad with a bright “ah-ah-ah” refrain sung by backing vocalist Letizia Mandolesi .

Former M+A and Santii member Michele Ducci released his debut solo album ‘SIVE’ via Monotreme Records . The album ‘SIVE’ encompasses a range of styles as he ventures to make music on his own away from external commercial or career pressures and the result is amazing!

‘Hic’ (Latin for ‘here’ ), the third single from the debut solo album by former M+A and Santii member, Michele Ducci . Former M+A and Santii member Michele Ducci gears up to release his debut solo album on 7th June via Monotreme Records , he has unveiled new single ‘You Lay the Path by Walking on It’ . About the inspiration for the song, Michele Ducci says, “This is one of the first songs I wrote after a long period of no longer touching a musical instrument. I was walking around and whistling the theme that had suddenly come to my mind. As I walked, I thought that often, when we have an event or trip, we spend so much time anticipating it that when it arrives we can feel disappointed. We have waited so long for it that as soon as it has been reached, it seems swept away in a second like a face traced on the sand and blown away by the wind. As in Kafka’s “The Next Village” story you feel in a situation where it seems that not even a whole life can be enough to get to the nearest village ” .
