News: TOPE Nominated For Best Hip Hop Artist

If you've been following TOPE this year, you know its been an eventful few months. Dropping the single and video for MISS ME WHEN I'M GONE and packing up his bags for California, as well as licensing three songs for the upcoming season of Bad Girls Club, TOPE was recently nominated by Portland's Willamette Week for "Best Hip Hop Artist." Along with some other great candidates: Cool Nutz, Illmaculate, Mic Crenshaw, and Risky Star - TOPE needs your vote to secure the top spot!

With 14 released projects to date, countless creative music videos and passionate live shows, it's hard to measure the impact TOPE has had on Portland Hip Hop since his first solo release in 2009, but we're starting to feel like people are catching on. Recently TOPE's album BROKEBOYSYNDROME has quietly been picked up by national publications such as XXL and The Source, helping bring more attention to the budding Hip Hop scene in Portland. Be on the look out for new music and visuals as usual, plus a couple legendary collaborations still to come this year from TOPE!
